Technology Grant - announcement
St. Gianna Catholic Health Academy recently received a donation of more than $10,000 from the Navrat Family Charitable Foundation to purchase upgraded technology. The funds will be used to purchase a Promethean Activpanel interactive whiteboard screen, a Swivl C Series robotic camera, an iPad Air, and online textbook and supplemental resources.
The program also recently received funding from the Black Hills Energy Corporation.
“This gift will enhance our classroom learning while making it easier to stay up to date on the many healthcare changes these students will be facing as well as better prepare them for any field they choose to pursue,” said Karla Denlinger, the instructor of the St. Gianna Catholic Health Academy.
“We are honored to help further the important work of the St. Gianna Catholic Health Academy with this grant,” said C. Todd Navrat, president of the Navrat Family Charitable Foundation, which was established in 2006 by Robert J. Navrat, a longtime supporter of Catholic education and of Via Christi.
